Ouch! It turned out that ATM machines with the same dirty toilets

Did you know that it turns out ATMs (automatic teller machines) as dirty as public toilets. According to a test, ATM machines carry bacterial diseases.

In order to do the testing, the experts took samples of swabs from the numeric keypad of ATM machines in the central English town, one of the busiest ATM used by thousands of people every day. They then took a similar sample from the nearest public toilet seats and compares them with the microscope laboratory bacteria.

Samples were allowed to grow overnight. As a result, both samples contain pseudomonas and bacillus, the bacteria that are known to cause diarrhea. Thus was launched by the Telegraph on Wednesday (12/01/2011).

''We are interested to compare the level of bacterial contamination of ATM machines and public toilets as a facility that is often used, "

''We were surprised by the findings because there are ATM machines proved to be contaminated with bacteria, the same as public toilets. In addition, the bacteria were detected in ATM machines similar to those found in the toilet, which is known as the trigger of the disease in general,''

BioCote do this test after they conducted a survey of three thousand adults in the UK that revealed that public toilets be the greatest health risks, in addition to public phones, bus stops and train stations.

"Pay phones can be where the growth of germs and dirt. Not only does this facility handled a different person every day, the receiver is also close to the nose and mouth of many people, "

"There was ironic because when most people consider the phone and public toilets are the most dirty place, it turns out our experiments show that the same ATM machine was dirty,''
